Duties/Responsibilities? Work closely with development staff to design, results and develop trust and credibility
? Develop the scripts & automation tools to automate the spam rule creation process, and maintain the rules, and accurate testing of XCS
(Extensible Content Security) product
? Determination of practical workarounds and resolution of spam rule creation and spam data analysis.
? Document and report test results, test methodology, and project status to the product team in a clear and concise manner
? Review and analyze user documentation for technical accuracy
? Cooperate with other teams to ensure any outstanding problem or development that is considered a high risk are closely monitored
? Improve and streamline methods and practices to increase rule creation and data reporting efficiency.
? Good programming ability, with strong skills in Perl or Python ( C would be a bonus ).
? Excellent understanding of regular expressions and pattern matching.
? Ability to design and develop software from a functional spec.
? Experience in TCP/IP protocols, SMTP is big plus.
? Experience in work on Linux/UNIX, FreeBSD OS.
? Experience in test automation is preferred
? Strong understanding of testing methodologies and environments, knowledge of performance, regression, integration, interoperability,
system level and stress/load test execution
? Able to cope with pressure, priorities workload and meet agreed timetables.
? Excellent problem solving, pattern recognition mentality and analytical skills.
? Excellent interpersonal and good communication, Written/Oral English skills.
? Quick learning and Self-motivated.
? Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or related field with several years of working experience in system and software quality
? above 3 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in testing of enterprise products.
