Job Description:

We are seeking software engineers to develop clouding infrastructure and application on Cisco ASR 1000 platforms, the leading middle range routing platforms with advanced services. ASR1000 is shipped product and experiencing great revenue growth. You will define, design, build and sustain platform software components along with designing and building platform software infrastructure for our next generation routers. You will work in number of different OS environments including developing on programmable network processing engines.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent design, programming and debugging skills (C/C++).
- Embedded systems development experience (e.g. IOS, VxWorks, Linux, etc.).
- Protocol-related development experience (e.g. QOS, IP, UDP, ATM, Frame, SNMP, PNNI, MPLS, etc.).
- Well versed in UNIX/Linux development environment and software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of operating systems architecture including semaphores, task switching, IPC, pre-emptive scheduling, and memory management. Linux kernel experience a definite plus.
- Troubleshooting issues and customer support experience.
- Good communication/influence skill and ability to lead/mentor/coach other team members.
- Demonstrable experience in driving large feature or SW development project from requirements development through test and deployment.
- Experience of working on high-end router platforms, XMPP knowledge is a plus.

Senior Software Development Engineer:

Responsibility:
- Design and develop Cisco ASR1000's platform forwarding infra and QFP forwarding features including IPV4/IPV6 forwarding, Virtual fragmentation Reassembly, IP tunnels, MPLS infra & L2/L3VPN, policy or performance based routing features, Deep Packet Inspect(DPI) features etc.
- Develop Next Generation router platforms using IOS-XE.
- Support customer deployment.

Requirements:
.Strong C/C++ programming experience on Linux/Unix/Vxworks. Development experience on embedded system is preferred.
.Good knowledge of operation systems such as Linux, Unix or Vxworks.
.Working experience on TCP/IP network and protocols. Working experience on OSPF, BGP, MPLS etc. is preferred.
.Knowledge of network protocols and solutions is a plus such as IPv6 solutions (6RD/ISATAP, 6PE/6VPE, NAT64), MPLS/MPLS-TE, Multicast, QoS, MPLS VPN, L2VPN, IPSec VPN, TLS/SSL, Firewall, NAT, Broadband etc.
.Experience on Cisco IOS and Cisco certifications will be a plus.
.Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and verbal)

Requirements
* Strong XMPP and IM development experience.
* Familiar with related RFCs
* 5+ years of software development experience with C/C++ programming
* Experience with Linux, multi threading, state machines
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Mobile development experience is a plus

Responsibilities
* Develop IM module for enterprise unified collaboration apps (IM, voice, video, etc) that run on various platforms (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android)

Responsibilities
 Interface with development, marketing, customers, and partners to understand product deployment scenarios and use cases and translate them into testable requirements
 Work closely with development and customer support teams in recreation and resolution of customer reported problems
 Research the test tool solution based on the project requirement
 Testing tool design and implementation
 Design and code review with developer
 Responsible for test bed and environment setup for feature, system, regression testing and problem recreation
 Participate in test escape analysis and refine test process
 Strive for continuous improvements in testing methodologies and productivity

Qualifications
 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience
 MS/BS in Computer science, Information Science, Telecommunication, Engineering or related fields

Requirements
Must-Have Skill / Experience
Strong network background, expertise in TCP/IP
 Strong VOIP knowledge, Expertise in VOIP protocols like SIP/H.323
 Good English communication skills (in written and verbal)
 Strong analytical and problem solving skills
 Ability to learn new technology quickly and willing to take any challenge
Nice-to-Have Skills / Experience
 CCNP, CCIE certification
 Familiar with Cisco voice and routing/switching products
 Good knowledge in Linux OS

如果说要上纲上线的谈,到不是民族和愤青,这跑错方向了。反倒是,CISCO目前的这种态度是否真正对他们的股东负责?也即,人不尽用。上述这种招发,只是多花钱,白忙活。就是有才能的人,被招进去,待遇也都不错,却没有对应发挥价值,给公司带来资源储备和价值提升。这难道是对股东负责任吗,部门推过我不翻译,人力推脱我翻译了也不对,这不是简单责任的推脱,也不是制度的不完善,不是他们该打班子,而是高层该打板子,是对这块资产的不重视。用句土话,即无欲,亦何求?
他们的问题不在这,而是HW太强了.没有HW,咋搞搞都成.
HW纵有千多问题,我也被HW鄙视过,但HW有一点是值得非常肯定的,就是对人力最大价值化。当然要保证这点,HW也需要对人力的待遇提升,HW也确实做到了。不过优先的是,即便一个工程师的水平和国外高级专家有差别,HW也可以把这个工程师的产出价值,提升到这个工程师在其他地方产出不到的程度。而CISCO则相反。谈CISCO有老年病是不对的。这里可能又要跑题到民族问题了。美国不是世界最民主的地方,确实最民族主义的地方。从上到下。相对中国民族主义反倒比美国要弱很多。

有次和一个法国南部来的人聊天,我们问他,法国很多有钱人都到南部生活,那么,巴黎的人更富有还是法国南部的人更富有?

这个法国人非常惊讶的看着我们,回答说:

法国南部的人需要钱吗?他们有阳光,大海,鲜花,几乎所有的一切,需要钱做什么,当然是巴黎的人更富有了.

+1,都是中国人,而且是针对国内招聘,何必呢。如果是要求英文的话,大可以在需求里写明英语等级或者水平。

d别人可能就是个HR,只是想让你看到英文就眼疼的人早点别看了,早点关了,免得你看到最后发现,我草,英文要求这么高。浪费我半天感情啊。

招聘部门的人,不一定是中国人,不一定懂中文,很正常的事情.

这点我不是太认同,人力资源,是公司除了资产财务外的最重要部门。因为人力资源算是非私有资源中最重要的。私有资源就是别人拿不走的,人力,相对品牌,客户而言更重要。如果一个公司人力资源部门已经懒的连翻译都懒得操作。那么这个部门要他做什么?跨国企业讲究多文化的协调下,发挥各自地域的优势,前者是前提,后者是目的。CISCO的市场部门如果把所有产品的推广,资料全部英文,包括代理商也全部要求英语出去推广,这显然是我在抬杠,也没有人这么做。CISCO不是不懂,如果他这么做,更本就卖不出去东西。

而CISCO这么大的公司,不会对人力资源不重视。由此得出的矛盾(对中国人力资源的不重视),继续推导的话我就不说了。。再说要骂人了,但是我又何必骂呢?关我毛事。。。
