The latest, greatest version of wxRuby is now available in source and binary gems for major platforms. This version adds a significant number of new features from wxWidgets, as well as fixing numerous bugs and warnings. Major changes include: * Added the RichText framework for editing styled and formatted text and images * Added the VListBox, VScrolledWindow and HtmlListBox GUI classes * Added NavigationKeyEvent and StandardPaths classes * Default Linux binary gem is now built against shared wxWidgets libraries * Standard Windows and OS X gems use the latest wxWidgets stable version, 2.8.9 Note that this means that if installing on Linux, you must install wxWidgets from your package manager (or compile it yourself as a shared library).
