前天我们发布了 FreeBSD 8.2 已经上传到 FTP 的消息，根据发行安排，FreeBSD 今天正式发布了 8.2 正式版，同时发布的还有 7.4 正式版。
FreeBSD 8.2 值得关注的改进包括：

前段时间，有个系统发布到HP-UX上，命令敲不顺，Shell写不顺。Linux和其他类Unix系统的差别太大了，习惯的力量啊...
可能是先入为主的因素，个人还是觉得Linux下的bash最好用

相對於Linux，它選擇的是可靠和穏定，而不是新颖和更多的包容性，而Linux且更大的是追求更多的時尚的元素、兼容性、和包容性，祇要是開源都有可能包括在其中，而更確切的説，Linux本身祇是一個内核，其它都是出自GNU，而FreeBSD確是一個完整的操作繫統。
